Scout Workshop Policy

Due to staff limitations, Lion Country Safari can offer only ONE Scout badge workshop per Scout group per day. These badge workshops are offered on a first-registered basis, so please make your reservations early!

If your Scout group's visit consists of the entire Pack or the entire Troop, please choose the General Scout badge workshop. This workshop will NOT fulfill the requirements for any one particular badge, but will earn requirements toward various badges at various levels.

If you have just one level of Boy Scout (Wolf, Bear, Webelos, or Boy Scout), please choose ONE Scout badge workshop for that particular level. A Tiger Scout program can usually be combined with any of the other Cub Scout levels. Please note: A minimum of 10 Scouts are needed in order to schedule a badge workshop.

If you have just one level of Girl Scout (Brownie, Junior, Cadette/Senior), please choose ONE Scout badge workshop for that particular level. A Daisy Scout program that is similar to a Brownie or Junior program may be combined with the higher level badge. Please note: A minimum of 10 Scouts are needed in order to schedule a badge workshop.

Even if you have 10 Wolves, 10 Bears, and 10 Webelos, we regret that we cannot do three Scout programs for your group on one day, since we do not have staffing available to accommodate that many programs in one day. The same is true for various Girl Scout levels.

Please refer to each badge description for specific information about what your group will be able to accomplish toward the badge requirements on your visit to Lion Country Safari.
