BROWNIE SCOUT: Watching Wildlife

Note: Lion Country Safari's badge workshop will help your Scout group
prepare for earning a badge. The following list will help you to understand
what Lion Country Safari covers, and what the Scout and/or group will need
to do to complete the badge requirements. All badge workshops must be
arranged in advance.

At Lion Country Safari

· Talk about animal habitats.
· Make nesting material pinecone
2. Animal Talk
· Learn how animals communicate
6. Outdoor shopping
· Discuss food that different types of animals eat

6. Light & Color
· Do flashlight colors3. A New Wardrobe
· Watch animals in your neighborhood to see if they change
colors from one season to another
4. Earthworm observation
· Observe earthworms.
5. Ant Adventure
· Observe ants
6. Outdoor shopping
· Observe 2 animals for several days and make a "grocery
list" for them.
