Note: Lion Country Safari's badge workshop will help your Scout group
prepare for earning a badge. The following list will help you to understand
what Lion Country Safari covers, and what the Scout and/or group will need
to do to complete the badge requirements. All badge workshops must be
arranged in advance.

1. Choose your craft
- Learn about several crafts (sketching, photography,
painting) and decide if it will fit into your lifestyle.
2. Practice your craft
- Make an example of your craft (one of 3 above)
5. Make a recycled craft
- Make a craft from items you would normally throw away.
6. Make a craft with a nature theme
- Learn how to use nature in crafts.
8. Your own gift wrap
- Design your own gift wrap
10. Safe crafts
- Make a list of at least 8 safety guidelines for your craft.

1. Choose your craft
- Choose from: knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sketching,
photography, weaving, sewing, jewelry, painting, T-shirts,
pottery, baskets, tole, macramé, decoupage, wreaths,
mosaics, woodworking.
2. Practice your craft
- Make 2 more examples.
3. Re-craft
- Practice your craft using a material you've never used
before.
4. Where and When
- Look at global and historical examples of your craft.
7. An honor
- Write a description of your craft as it would appear if it
were shown in a museum.
8. Your own gift wrap
- Wrap a homemade gift.
9. Crafty cash
- Find out about people involved in the crafts business.
