Note:
Lion Country Safari's badge workshop will help your Scout group
prepare for earning a badge. The following list will help you to understand
what Lion Country Safari covers, and what the Scout and/or group will
need
to do to complete the badge requirements. All badge workshops must be
arranged in advance.

Wildlife symbols - Learn our state bird, flower, tree, mammal. 2. It's all in the details - Draw or take a picture of a plant or animal that you can easily observe. 3. Creature feature - Match each bird with a tool that shows how the bird uses its beak: Hawk, drinking straw, Flamingo, nut cracker, Hummingbird, collander, Woodpecker, scissors, Goldfinch, toothpick 4. We are family - Learn what characteristics members of these 2 animal groups share: birds and mammals. 6. Staying alive - Learn about endangered animals. 7. Take a closer look - Use binoculars to get a closer look at plants and animals. 10. How was your day? - Observe our chimps. |
