Note:
Lion Country Safari's badge workshop will help your Scout group
prepare for earning a badge. The following list will help you to understand
what Lion Country Safari covers, and what the Scout and/or group will
need
to do to complete the badge requirements. All badge workshops must be
arranged in advance.
Required for badge: 2 Skill builders, 1 Technology, 1 Service Project, 1 Career exploration,
2 from any category that you choose

builders 1. Do field observations at iguana moat. Record time, date, temp, weather, and what you saw, heard, smelled and felt. 4. Observe chimps. Record date, time, location, and weather conditions. Create an ethogram. Technology 1. Learn how wildlife biologists study animals in the field: what equipment is used, etc. Service Projects 2. Make enrichments for Lion Country Safari's primates. Career Exploration 2. Learn about the education and experience needed to work as a zoo educator. Interview one of the education staff members. |
