Rides, Attractions and Animal Encounters
Begin your Safari World tour with a boat ride on the Safari Queen, where you will learn about the siamangs and spider monkeys that inhabit the islands of Lake Shanalee or, if you prefer, do your own navigating on the paddleboats. Enjoy our newest attractions: panning for gems and stones or sliding down the Fun Slide. Bring your bathing suit to cool off in Safari Splash, with 23 interactive water functions (open weekends and holidays only). Play a round of miniature golf, tease your brain with a trip through our maze, or take a ride on the carousel, the El Paso Train, our flying elephant ride, or the Ferris wheel. You can also enjoy the opportunity to interact with our lories at the Lory Feeding Aviary, our giraffe at the Giraffe Feeding Area, and our sheep or goats at the Petting Zoo.
Included in admission is entry into both the drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park. Plus, enjoy these attractions complimentary (with paid admission): Ferris wheel, carousel, flying elephant ride, toddler train, paddle boat rental, pontoon boat tour, mini golf, Safari Splash water sprayground, safari maze, 4-6 shows/presentations daily.
Some rides/attractions/encounters require a small fee in addition to the admission price. These are noted in the descriptions.
SafariWorld Animal Encounters
We anticipate that all attractions are open every day. Occasionally there are situations, such as weather or maintenance requirements which require us to close an attraction. There is always plenty to do and see. Please call us at 561-793-1084 if you have questions about a specific attraction.

Pick up a sack and then choose one of three lanes to slide down on this 90-foot long slide. Open daily, rides are complimentary.
Ride Restrictions- Maximum capacity on the slide at one time is 3 riders (or 750 lbs/341 kg). A maximum of 6 adults or up to 12 children are permitted on stairs waiting to ride.
- Minimum passenger height is 42” (1.07 meters).
- Must remain seated at all times while on the slide.
- The following are NOT permitted: double riding, sliding backwards, sliding head first, turning sideways, jumping humps, laying down, standing up, running.
- Shoes are required and feet must remain in sack while sliding.
- Persons with the following health conditions should not enter the slide: expectant moms, back or joint ailments, heart conditions, respiratory conditions, broken or mending bones, neck conditions.
