Group 1 - Kimberly
A senior at Brigham Young University, this is Kim's second year with Safari Day Camp. In her spare time, Kim enjoys lacrosse, art, and playing games. Kim's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari is the White-Handed
Gibbon. Her most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is standing face to face with the Chimpanzees

Jenna
Group 2 - Jenna
Jenna earned her B.S. in Elementary Education at FAU, and is currently working on her Master's in Early Childhood. This is Jenna's second year with Safari Day Camp. In her spare time, Jenna enjoys mountain biking. Jenna's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari is the African Pygmy Hedgehog. Her most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is going to Vero Beach with Joe and asking people to stump him with a question.

Kacey
Group 3 - Kacey
Currently a student at the University of Central Florida, this is Kacey's 1st year with Safari Day Camp. In her spare time Kacey enjoys tennis and doing portraits of people.
Kacey's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari is either the Pigs or the Chimps. Her most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is visiting the lion house.

Chris
Group 4 - Chris
Currently a student at Palm Beach Community College, Chris has worked for Lion Country Safari for 4 years. This is Chris's first year with Safari Day Camp as a Counselor. In his spare time Chris enjoys movies, computers, and playing guitar. Chris's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari is the Lory Birds. His most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is when he had to wash the trays all day long in the Food and Beverage area.

Hollie
Group 5 - Hollie
Currently a student at Palm Beach Community College, this is Hollie's first year with Safari Day Camp. In her spare time

Lion Country Safari is being a foot away from the Lions when she was in the Lion house.

Brandon

Currently a student at Flagler College, this is Brandon's first year with Safari Day Camp. In his spare time Brandon enjoys playing baseball and golf. Brandon's favorite animal
at Lion Country Safari are the Lions. His most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is being face to face with the lions and the chimps

Kerri
Group 7 - Kerri
Currently a student at Palm Beach Community College, this is Kerri's second year with Safari Day Camp. In her spare time Kerri enjoys photography, working out, and watching movies. Kerri's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari are Tish (Tortoise),
and Patrick (Hedgehog). Her most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is Driving through the preserve with Terry Wolf.

Jared
Group 8 - Jared
Currently a student at Michigan State University, this is Jared's 1st year with Safari Day Camp. In his spare time Jared enjoys photography, tennis, and bowling. Jared's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari are the Chimps. His most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is having the chance to see the lions, chimps, and the elephants up close.

Ryan
Counselor - Ryan
Currently a student at Florida Atlantic University, this is Ryan's third year with Safari Day Camp. In his spare time Ryan enjoys Programing, Poetry, music, and math. Ryan's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari is Bulwagi (male African Elephant). His most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is watching Terry collect Bulwagi's Semen for the AI program.

Misty
Counselor - Misty
Currently a student at Florida State University, this is Misty's third year with Safari Day Camp. In her spare time Misty enjoys talking, and spending time with family and friends. Misty's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari are the Lions, Turtles, and Primates. Her most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is having "Brian the Lion guy" give them a tour of the lion house.

Blake
Lifeguard - Blake
Currently a student at Florida State University, this is Blake's second year with Safari Day Camp. In his spare time Blake
enjoys mountain biking and fishing. Blake's favorite animal at Lion Country Safari are the Squirrel Monkeys and Asiatic Water Buffalos. His most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is the behind the scenes tour by Terry Wolf.

Christina
Education - Christina
Christina is a graduate of San Francisco State University, this is her first year with the Education Department. In her spare time Christina enjoys swimming and working out. Her favorite animal at Lion Country Safari are the Giraffe. Her most memorable moment at Lion Country Safari is walking
into the front office door when I thought it was open and it was really closed.

Linda
Crafts Coordinator - Linda
A full-time Education staff member, Linda leads all of the groups in crafts each day. Linda graduated from Houghton College and also attended SUNY-Cobbleskill. She also
completed the Docent Training Program at Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park, where she was a docent for several years. Prior to joining Lion Country Safari's Education Department in 2000, Linda was a preschool teacher and a crossing guard. Her favorite LCS animals are the giraffes, and her most memorable moment was "feeding the giraffe with the summer camp kids."

Rhonda
Education Director - Rhonda
At Lion Country Safari since 1998, Rhonda was an instructor at PBCC for 11 years, a private school for 6 years, and Penn State for a year prior to joining the LCS Education team. She earned her B.A. in English at USF and studied Comparative literature in graduate school at Penn State. She has had a lifelong love of animals and says that Lion Country Safari is "a wonderful place for everyone to learn to appreciate wildlife and wild places." She says the best part about working here is "every day is a new adventure." Her most memorable moments have been "meeting several of my former students visiting Lion Country with their spouses and children. Some have even been
summer campers!"

Aaron
Education - Aaron
In his third year with Lion Country Safari's Education Department, Aaron received his A.A. degree at San Diego State and his BA in Spanish at FAU. He is also a certified lifeguard. He says the best part of working at Lion Country Safari is "the interaction with people and animals." Aaron's favorite animal here is Gonzo the sloth. His most memorable moment was "getting a close-up look at the lion house."

Joe
Education - Joe
In his second year with Lion Country Safari's Education Department, Joe received his BS from the University of South Dakota in Biology. He says the best part of working at Lion Country Safari is "the interaction with the animals and the opportunity to educate the public about wildlife." Joe says that "it is difficult to choose a favorite animal because they are all special and unique in their own way." His most memorable moment was
"training Eddy (Double Yellow-Headed Amazon) to step-up onto a stick."
