We met with one of the Hoofstock Keepers, who told us all about the many species of antelope that call Lion Country Safari home. We learned that antelope have horns, not antlers, and we even got to see and feel real antelope horns and deer antlers. We also walked around a bit to learn to identify various tracks and scat, and the keeper took us on a guided tour to learn more about these fascinating animals. Some of us even made some paper mache antelope as an enrichment for the Lions. |

They climbed all over our hats and arms. We learned that they like to play with hats, sunglasses, hair scrunchies, etc. We got to feed them, and some of us had our pictures taken with them! |

During our snake day we got to learn all about the different types of snakes there are. We learned about the ways that snakes help us out and why we need to have them here. We even got to hold a snake and have our picture taken with it. |
