Giraffe
For our Mammal Day, we met Ms. Linda at the Giraffe Exhibit, where we learned to identify the giraffe and we learned all about these beautiful animals. Some of us even had our photos taken with the giraffe. Then we played a game and made a giraffe craft. |

Lory
At the Lory Exhibit, we met an education staff member, who taught us about these colorful parrots. We also fed them their special nectar. Some of us had our photos taken with the lories. Later, we candled eggs with an education staff member and held the baby chicks. We made a special lory craft and played a bird game, too. |

Python
First, we met an education staff member to see the ball python; some of us were able to have our photo taken with one of these snakes. Then we met the wildlife director, who brought out the Burmese python to tell us all about this large reptile. She was weighed and measured for us; we learned that she weighs 147 lbs. and is 14.5 feet long! We later played a game and made a snake craft. |

Primate Keeper
An education staff member taught us how to make enrichments for our primates (monkeys and apes) in Safari World. Then we met the primate keeper, who taught us all about these cool mammals. We learned that siamangs make a special sound by using their throat sac, and some of us even heard their calls. The keeper then paddled over to their islands to feed them and give them the enrichment that we made. We later played a game and made a primate craft. |

Arboreal Animals
We went to a special program at the Animal Theatre and learned about Arboreal Animals (animals that live in trees). Some of us had our photo taken with an arboreal creature. Later, we looked for arboreal animals in Safari World and then made a special craft. |
