Begin your Safari World tour with a boat ride on the Safari Queen, where you will learn about the siamangs and spider monkeys that inhabit the islands of Lake Shanalee or, if you prefer, do your own navigating on the paddleboats. Enjoy our newest attractions~ panning for gems and stones or see the porcupines up close. Bring your bathing suit to cool off in Safari Splash, with 23 interactive water functions or slide down the waterslide (open weekends and holidays only). Play a round of miniature golf, tease your brain with a trip through our maze, or take a ride on the carousel, the El Paso Train, our flying elephant ride, or the Ferris Wheel. You can also enjoy the opportunity to interact with our Lories at the Lory feeding aviary, our Giraffe at the Giraffe feeding area, and our Sheep or Goats at the Petting Zoo. Please be advised of the following ride restrictions for height and weight:
Safari Falls Slide:
Minimum height 40" (1.2 meters)
Maximum 65” (1.7 meters)
Maximum weight 160 lbs (73 kg)
Maximum slide capacity, 1 on stairs, 2 on upper deck
These items are not permitted on slide:
Food, shoes, gum jewelry, combs, glasses, sharp objects, cameras, phones.
For your Safety:
No use of slide without attendant.
Persons with the following health conditions
should not enter the slide: Expectant moms, back
or joint ailments, heart conditions, respiratory
conditions, broken or mending bones, neck
conditions, infections of any kind, or if you are
ill with diarrhea.
No lap sliding or double sliding, jumping,
bouncing, flipping, belly slides, running, horse
play, stopping on slide, climbing on structure
or head first slides. No jumping, diving, or flips
from end of slide into pool.
No unevenly matched sliders.
Riders must be able to climb stairs without
assistance.
Do not slide without attendant approval.
Stop all activity when attendant whistle blows.
Spectators must remain 20 feet (6 meters) back
from slide.
Do not swallow the water, it is recirculated.
Ferris Wheel:
Minimum height 48” (1.22 meters) to ride without
adult supervision
Maximum weight 600 lbs (272 kg) per gondola
Maximum 5 riders per gondola
Train:
Designed for toddlers ages 2-5
Bulwagi’s Flying Safari Ride
Minimum height 36” (.91 meters)
Maximum weight per car 220 lbs (100 kg).
Maximum 2 riders per car
Carousel:
Minimum height 36” (.91 meters) to ride without
adult supervision
Maximum 1 rider per animal
Maximum weight on moving animals is
150 lbs (68 kg)

Paddle Boats:
Maximum weight per boat is 500 lbs (227 kg)
Maximum 4 riders per boat
All groups must be accompanied by a chaperone to ride.
The ride operator may refuse entry to any patron who, in the ride operator’s judgment, may not be a safe rider.
