West Palm Beach, FL – Lion Country Safari is celebrating the completion of their newest water attraction, Safari Falls, with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019. The attraction, covering over 10,000 square feet (929 m²), will provide additional opportunities for families to cool off and have fun on safari.
The new water play structure, set in a pool up to 20 inches (50.8 cm) deep, will feature a number of interactive elements, including water cannons, water slides and a 550-gallon dump bucket, one of the largest in the country. The new attraction, nearly three times the size of the existing water play area, can accommodate up to 300 guests. Admittance to the new water attraction will be included with paid admission to Lion Country Safari.
This new attraction is the third major feature of Lion Country Safari’s water park area, adding on to the Safari Splash water spray ground (opened in 2005) and the water slides (opened in 2014). Lion Country Safari’s water park area will now be able to accommodate even more guests for fun on safari. Lion Country Safari is committed to providing a fun, family-friendly environment with ample opportunities for adventure.
