West Palm Beach, FL –Lion Country Safari is expanding the current water play area in the 55-acre Safari World amusement park to include a new 10,568-square-foot water attraction. The park broke ground for the project in August with the expansion scheduled for completion by early 2019.
The new water play structure, set in a pool up to 20 inches deep, will feature a number of interactive elements, including dump buckets, water cannons, and water slides. The zero depth pool entry is accessible for most guests and the new attraction, nearly three times the size of the existing water play area, can accommodate up to 300 guests. Admittance to the new water attraction will be included with paid admission to Lion Country Safari.
