West Palm Beach, Fl – To celebrate Valentine’s Day, animals at Lion Country Safari will receive Valentine-themed enrichments and two notable animals (Cupid/giraffe and Little Mama/chimpanzee) will celebrate their birthdays. The festivities will take place throughout the day on Feb. 14, 2016.
Cupid the giraffe celebrates his eleventh birthday. His heart-shaped spot on the right side of his neck distinguishes him. Cupid’s name if very fitting, considering he is the breeder bull giraffe on safari! Little Mama, who according to Dr. Jane Goodall, is in her late 70’s, will celebrate her birthday with pink and red items including a new shawl, stuffed animals and food items. She is the oldest-known living chimpanzee.
